The Play That Goes Wrong is an irreverent comedy that explores what we do when our play is... well, going wrong. In our design of the production, my design team and I worked together to collect all our favorite theatre faux-pas to create a production that embraces the imperfections of theatre. By incorporating classic design mistakes - like wallpaper that doesn't quite line up and printed frames - the scenic design helped audiences and the design team alike remember that theatre is supposed to be fun. And the show will always go on.
