Inherit the Wind is an explosive drama inspired by the most important trial of the 20th Century, the Scopes Monkey Trial. The production explores a political and religious divide that is so timeless it could have been ripped directly from today’s headlines. In the design of this production, we aimed to bridge the historical and the modern by creating a colorful, timeless world. Over the course of the production, natural motifs in the projection design emphasize the need for balance between God and nature.
